This scholarship is established in order to expand the opening of Xinjiang's education to the outside world, improve the international ization level of Xinjiang's education, promote the scale, quality and efficiency of the education for international students studying in China, and cultivate talents for cooperation between neighboring countries. Entrusted by the Education Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang University carries out the scholarship enrollment work of this program. The enrollment major involves Chinese and English teaching majors at all levels of bachelor's , master's and doctoral programs. It is the most comprehensive "Double First Class" university in terms of scholarship enrollment majors for this project.

III. Application Procedure
1.Applicants for undergraduate programs are required to take the "China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA)" prior to submitting their applications. They shall select the corresponding test subjects in accordance with the major they apply for, with Chinese language and mathematics as compulsory subjects. Valid score reports must be submitted by May 31st. (For details regarding test arrangements and formats, please refer to https://www.csca.cn).
2.Applicants for master's and doctoral programs should log in to the official website of Xinjiang University at https://www.xju.edu.cn/, navigate to "Organizational Structure", select the relevant college under "Teaching and Research Institutions", inquire about supervisor information, and obtain a pre-admission letter from the supervisor of the program they intend to apply for.
3.All applicants must complete their application registration via the International Students Management Platform of Xinjiang University at http://xju.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx. After registering a personal account, they are required to fill in personal information in detail and submit relevant application materials in accordance with the specified requirements and procedures. The College of International Cultural Exchange of Xinjiang University reserves the right to refuse to review the application materials if the application is not submitted through the aforementioned platform.

5. Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (The examination results are only valid for 6 months from the date of application.)
6. Original and notarized certificate of no criminal record ( both in Chinese and English, valid for 6 months)
7. Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit a certificate of authorization signed by their guardian in China
8. Language Proficiency Certificate: Programs taught in Chinese require HSK level certificates, while programs taught in English require IELTS, TOEFL score certificates, or English teaching certificates issued by the school
9. Two Recommendation Letters should be provided if applying for Master's and PhD level majors
10. Study Plan should be provided if applying for Master's and PhD level majors ( No less than 800 words )

Note: Applicants with an HSK score of Level 4 or above will be given priority admission to Chinese-related undergraduate majors.
For master’s and doctoral programs taught in Chinese, an HSK score of Level 5 or above is required.
Professional master’s programs have been marked accordingly. Among them, Master of International Chinese Language Education (Professional) and Master of Tourism Management (Professional) are two-year programs. All unmarked programs are academic master’s programs. In addition, the Computer Science and Technology program taught in English is also a two-year program.
VI. Scholarship Coverage
1.Exemption from registration fees, tuition fees, and on campus accommodation fees (10 months );
2.Comprehensive medical insurance for international students;
3.Living expenses (10 months);
Specific funding standards:
(1) Bachelor's student: RMB 1000/month
(2) Master's degree student: RMB 1220/month
(3) Doctoral student: RMB 1500/month
VII. Admission Procedure
After the application materials are approved, the applicant needs to participate in an interview. The College of International Cultural Exchange will consider the applicant's conditions comprehensively based on the interview results and select the best candidate for admission.
1. Registration deadline: May 31st,2026
2. Interview time: June 1st-15th,2026
3. Announcement of admission results: June, 2026
4. Issuance of admission notice and visa application form : August, 2026
5. Date of start and registration: The College is expected to start and register on September 1st( specific dates can be found in the admission notice). If admitted students are unable to register on the date, they need to contact the College in advance to apply for leave. Those who fail to register over two weeks after the deadline without reason will be treated as giving up the admission qualification , at their own responsibility.
6. All the original registration materials are required when register. If the original documents are suspected of being forged, the college has the right to cancel the scholarship qualification that has been obtained.
7. Change of major is not allowed after admission.
